Give a Gift for Free!

Thursday, December 11, 2008

Good morning all! Like I said, I apologize once again for no new actual food recipes this week. No time to bake due to finals, but the middle of next week will begin the cookoff! Today's post will be a little mixture of things for you =) First I want to tell you all that you should definitely head on over to www.Restaurant.com/FeedItForward. What is there you ask?! One of the greatest concepts I have yet to see this holiday season. Restaurant.com prides itself as being one of the corporations that you can order giftcards for your friends that they can use at a variety of restaurants that have teamed up with their company. So instead of deciding if your friends would rather go to Applebee's or Olive Garden, you can give them the choice! Their new Feed It Forward program that runs through Christmas lets you give up to 3 free $10 Restaurant giftcards to friends through email! And not just for one day, but everyday until Christmas! They have $30 million dollars of free giftcards they are giving away. Sound to good to be true? It's not; I've already tested it out and plan on sending these to all of my distant relatives! They recieve a virtual voucher through email and just have to print it out and bring it along to their restaurant of choice!(the website has a "nearest restaurant that participate"zipcode finder) So what are you waiting for!? Head on over to feed it forward!

Just a little peek at what's coming ahead in the next month or so on my blog:

*Cassie's Cookie Critique(I have gotten a good amount of cookie companies to submit a wonderful sample of their product, so that you can head on over and order some without the worry that they are not what you would like in a cookie)

*Unique Treats(another feature that has all the products I've scoped out and dubbed unique)

*Christmas Cookies(of course you knew this was coming!)

*My Trip(I am going to California soon and want to get a list of restaurants you shouldn't miss)

*Some Video Blogs(I used to do an online podcast called Cooking With Cassie; I will try to make up a couple videos over break for you all)

*Delivering Christmas Cheer(I plan to document our day of delivering cookies;it's sure to be a touching one!)

*And MUCH MUCH more! So make sure to stay tuned!
