It’s Official!

Well everyone, it’s official: I am moved into my new apartment! I cannot say how much I love it. I love the whole atmosphere of being back in the college town.I love the setting, the people, the shopping, etc. Life is good! I could have never ever done it without the two best parents in the world. I filled up a whole Uhaul that my dad willingly unloaded and hauled all my belongings up 3 flights of stairs(did I mention it was close to 80 degrees?). Once my mom got here, she was set on getting all furniture assembled, holes pounded, shelves on the wall, etc. For three straight days she, my dad, and I pounded, hauled, unpacked, but best of all, we had a complete blast doing it and it’s a time I will never ever forget. I am overly thankful for my indescribable family! =) Needless to say, I am nowhere near having a “completely furnished and ready-to-go” home. I still have one full room of boxes piled high to go through and put away. Today my first thing on the agenda is definitely getting my kitchen up and ready to go! I got a new ice cream maker and a bread machine to keep me busy! I cannot wait to try em’ out and share with you all my creations—btw, is anyone experienced with either of these appliances? If so, any delish recipes would be more than welcomed! So a little heads up, blogging probably won’t resume to “normal” for about a week or until I am no longer buried in cardboard boxes—but I will be stopping by to visit all of you over at your places! So take care and keep living&loving! (Apartment pics will be posted ASAP! Stay tuned!)

When we were in the midst of moving, of course we had to eat—but without a furnished kitchen, what’s one to do? Eat out of course! This town has so many more great options to eat out it’s amazing! We decided on Pizza Hut because we fell in love with their Natural Pizza before. If you shun Pizza Hut due to the fact that you think their pizza is greasy, unhealthy, etc. please do reconsider and give this a try! There is a stark difference between this pizza and the others. First, the crust is whole wheat and much chewier and flavorful than their white crust. You get giant chunks of organic tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, all natural pepperoni, all natural Italian sausage, and fire-roasted red peppers slathered in a all-natural old world sauce and topped with an all-natural whole milk mozzarella with cheddar cheese. It really is a slice of heaven. Paired with some breadsticks and a nice salad—you have yourself a great rounded out meal, which is why we continually choose Pizza Hut over other pizza places in town.

Sounds like a whirlwind weekend!

That pizza sounds really good. I will admit to being a fan of the original crust, though!

Yay for your new apartment. It is exciting setting up your new home. I love pizza, they're so handy for days when you can't/don't want to cook.

How exciting!! I remember my first apt in college (shedding a tear). It was amazing. Plus being in a college town makes your experience just that more fun!
