Oh the days of Christmas past--
How I wish them here again:
Sitting in Mom’s lap, 
holding Daddy's hand. 
The tree, the gifts, the food, the joy, 
all of us together back then-- 
Off to college and back again--
there always was home.
There always was family. 
There is always Christmas.
